French-Anishinaabe artist Caroline Monnet’s This Land is The Gund’s first commissioned site-specific artwork for our Fischman Lobby. Monnet and Daisy Desrosiers, Director and Chief Curator of The Gund, will be discussing This Land and the artist’s practice, the influence she takes from her Anishinaabe heritage, and indigenous cultural identity.
